Cinderella
About the Play
The first scene is set in North Vancouver from whence, by wand and rhyme and power of three, we are transported to the woods. After several adventures there, we visit Hardupon Hall before going off to the royal ball at Prince Charming’s palace. We return finally to Hardupon Hall where the best wishes really do come true.
Cinderella is produced by special arrangement with the Author
DIRECTOR’S NOTES
New to the directorial game, I thought a panto the place to begin. It’s shorter than most plays ,and it’s for children. It’ll be easy. Nope. So let me now salute all panto directors! The theatrical demands are formidable!! And yet bringing ‘Cinderella’ to the stage is also among the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done, so I am happy that NVCP believed in me enough to stick me with the project. – Mary Gray
