PRODUCTION DATES:

January 28-30, February 3-6 (+ matinee), February 10-13 (matinee only), 2027

PRODUCTION VENUE:

Hendry Hall, 815 East 11th Street, North Vancouver

REHEARSALS:

Possibly 3-4 read-thru/text analysis rehearsals in October, to be discussed with the cast.

3 rehearsals per week starting in November with increased rehearsal time for tech weeks.

No rehearsals from December 21 – January 3

    Cast Requirements

    Outside Mullingar is a tender Irish romance about two stubborn neighbors, Anthony and Rosemary, whose lifelong misunderstanding hides steadfast love. Through gentle humor and honesty, it explores loneliness, pride, family duty, and the quiet courage required to finally speak the heart.  Note:  A wee Irish accent will be beneficial.

    ANTHONY REILLY

    A shy, socially awkward Irish farmer (late 20’s-mid 30’s) who has spent much of his life isolated from others

    AOIFE MULDOON

    Rosemary’s mother and Tony’s longtime neighbor. She is warm, humorous, and perceptive, often acting as a mediator between the other characters. (mid 60’s – early 70’s

    ROSEMARY MULDOON

    Anthony’s outspoken, determined neighbor (late 20’s-mid 30’s). She has loved Anthony for many years and is frustrated by his inability to recognize or respond to her feelings.

    TONY REILLY

    Anthony’s aging father. He owns the Reilly family farm and is concerned about what will happen to it after he dies.  (mid 60’s – early 70’sThis role has already been cast
