Description of Play:
"The Past, like a ghost, dwells within us.  Will we keep it alive or lay it to rest?”
A story about mothers and daughters on the road of life.
A journey of love, loss, family secrets and therapy—lots of therapy!

It’s been 15 years since the tragic and untimely death of Vivian’s sister Kate at the age of 17.
Both Vivian and their mother Reagan are deeply haunted by these memories.
Vivian is determined to move forward with the help of her therapist but Reagan, a faded Hollywood starlet, clings to the past and spends
her days at Willows Terrace Rehab, trying to recapture her youth and block the pain with little blue pills.
Ultimately Reagan and Vivian must face the truth and each other.  Will they find the peace they are searching for?
The answer lies on the road between them.

Reagan Descharmes: Faded beauty, lost in the nostalgia of her past.  A force to be reckoned with despite her ailments.
Charming and vivacious, with a dry sense of humour and sharp wit.  Age range: 50 to 65.

Vivian Descharmes:  Reagan’s daughter.  Attractive in a nice natural way.  Practical and down to earth.
Takes herself too seriously at times.  Age range: 25 to 40.

Dr. Konrad Lewis:  Vivian’s psychiatrist. Neat, tidy and focused professional with a dry wit.  Age range: 40 to 50.

Good looking, polite.  Aspiring film actor.
He has just moved his father into the Willows Terrace Rehab where Reagan is a resident.  Age range : 25 to 35.

These are open auditions but preference will be given to existing members of NVCP
All Cast and Crew members of the production must join NVCP prior to the first rehearsal ($20 adults, $10 students and children)
